Well, it's December already and no doubt everyone's starting to think of Christmas. Hard to believe another year is nearing an end.

We've had a busy month here putting a big effort into our Social Media marketing campaign. Understanding the potential of Twitter and Facebook is only half the battle, harnessing that potential is another issue.
I am now actively Tweeting away so if there are any avid Twitter fans out there then you can catch me at twitter.com/madcatphoto. Don't worry I won't be Tweeting what I had for breakfast or when I'm walking the dog it's all useful information about photography and our Fine Art Images.
We are also building up our Facebook page membership and to facilitate this we are introducing some regular competitions! So head on over to facebook.com/madcatphotography, click that "Like" button and see what our current competition is.
We recently purchased our first ever Apple MacBook laptop which has enabled us to start looking into iPhone and iPad development so stay tuned for some MADCAT apps for your Apple devices over the next few months.

All of our Fine Art Gifts are printed using the same inks, paper and canvas as our Fine Art Prints so they really are a great gift for art and photography lovers.

Mindarie Marina Festival
We had a stall at the Mindarie Marina Festival during October and as usual I was the wandering photographer for the day, covering the event for the Marina marketing department.
It was a great day as always and probably the busiest Festival at Mindarie yet :)

Some of you may not be aware that Maggie and I are both professional Software & Web Site Developers (and have been for over 20 years), though we have largely left this side of our lives behind to pursue our Landscape Photography business we still create web sites for local small businesses.

Recently we completed a web site for Blueprint Interiors, a local carpentry business run by Wayne & Tracy Foley.

Wanneroo Agricultural Show - Wanneroo Showgrounds
Fri 26th to Sat 27th November
The Wanneroo Show is over and everyone had a great weekend. Thanks to everyone who came by the stand, as usual we had a prize draw for everyone who joined our mailing list on the day and the winner was Terence Boylen of Wanneroo. St Jude Charity Ball - Rendezvous Hotel, Scarborough
Saturday 11th December
The annual St Judes Charity Ball is on again and, as usual, we have donated a framed print to be auctioned on the the night.
Proceeds from the evening go to the School of St Jude in Northern Tanzania which was opened in 2002 by Australian sheep farmer Gemma Rice (now Gemma Sisia) with the help of her family, friends and the local Rotary Club.
The School of St Jude is an independent sponsorship-supported school that provides education for Tanzanian children from the lowest socio-economic backgrounds. The school demonstrates leadership, promotes critical thinking and expects high moral values from its students, staff and the school community.

Gravity Discovery Centre - Moonwalks

There's never a better time for a stroll than at full moon. The bush seems to come alive, our neighbor in the sky looks its wonderful best, and there have even been cases of humans doing strange things at these times of the month….
However, there will be none of that nonsense at the GDC. Experience a wonderful evening with a guided "moonwalk" through native bushland by the light of the moon.
